App Privacy Summary

Data collectedNone by the iOS app
Data linked to youNone
TrackingNone

This policy applies only to the iOS and iPadOS version of Disco Lights Music Visualizer. The Android and Windows apps, and this public website, have separate data practices and separate disclosures.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect or receive personal information, audio, images, video, motion data, identifiers, location, usage analytics, diagnostics, contacts, payment information, or advertising data from the iOS app. In this policy, “collect” means transmitting data off the device so that the developer or a third party can access it beyond the time needed to service a real-time request.

The iOS app does not require an account or sign-in and does not sell, rent, share, or use personal data for advertising or profiling.

2. Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

Microphone

When you use a music-reactive mode, the app may request microphone access to analyze sound level, frequency energy, and beats in real time. This processing occurs only in memory on your device to drive visual effects. The app does not record microphone audio, create audio files, store audio, upload audio, or transmit audio over a network.

Camera hardware and torch

The app accesses the rear camera hardware only when needed to control the device torch for flashlight effects. It does not take photographs, record video, inspect camera frames, save camera content, or transmit camera content.

Motion sensors

Shake mode may use accelerometer data to detect device movement and trigger visual effects. Motion readings are processed in real time on the device and are not stored or transmitted.

Haptics, vibration, and display brightness

The app may trigger short haptic or vibration feedback and may adjust screen brightness according to your settings. These actions do not collect or transmit personal data.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores only local preferences required to remember your choices, such as selected mode, tempo, sensitivity, colors, effect options, vibration state, flashlight state, brightness behavior, and control visibility. These preferences remain in the app’s private storage on your device and are not sent to the developer.

You can change these settings inside the app. Deleting the app normally removes its local data from the device. Copies may remain in device backups controlled by you and Apple according to your iOS or iCloud backup settings; the developer cannot access or delete those backups.

4. Advertising, Analytics, Tracking, and Third Parties

The iOS app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, social-network SDKs, or third-party code that collects user data. The app does not use the advertising identifier and does not track activity across apps or websites.

The app does not send data to AndrApps or to third-party service providers. If this changes in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the new practices apply.

5. Website and External Links

If you choose the Website link, iOS opens a separate public website in your browser. The website is not embedded in the iOS app. Website requests may be processed by hosting, security, and analytics providers, including Cloudflare and Google Analytics, and the optional website AI assistant has its own data handling described in the website’s general privacy policy. Those website practices are separate from the iOS app’s on-device processing.

This policy page is publicly hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process request information such as an IP address and browser or device metadata to deliver and protect the page under its own terms. The iOS app and AndrApps do not receive that information from the policy page as app data.

6. Retention and Deletion

Because the iOS app does not collect or transmit user data, the developer has no server-side app data to retain or delete. Local preferences remain on your device until you change them, reset them, or delete the app, subject to any device backups you control.

7. Your Choices and How to Revoke Access

If you deny or revoke a permission, only the feature that depends on that permission may be unavailable; other supported modes remain usable.

8. Children’s Privacy

The iOS app is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. It does not include accounts, advertising, tracking, or user-to-user communication. If you believe information has been provided to the developer outside the app, such as through a support email, contact us so the request can be reviewed.

9. Security and International Transfers

The iOS app keeps its settings in the app’s private storage and processes microphone and motion input locally. Because the iOS app does not transmit user data to the developer, there are no developer-controlled international transfers of app user data.

10. Flashing-Light and Device Safety

Disco Lights can display rapidly flashing or strobe-like effects and can pulse the device torch. These effects may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy or other sensitivities. Stop using the app if you experience discomfort, dizziness, eye strain, or other symptoms. Do not use flashing effects while driving or in any situation where distraction could be dangerous. Extended torch use may warm the device; discontinue use and allow it to cool if necessary.

This safety information is provided for responsible use and is separate from the app’s privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the iOS app’s features, permissions, legal requirements, or data practices change. The current version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store privacy disclosures where required.
