Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 2. For passthrough mixed reality, newer color-passthrough models such as Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro are the best targets.
Move the iPhone forward, back, left, or right to move through the scene.
VR headset setup
Use a compatible WebXR browser on the HTTPS version of this site, then press Enter 6DoF AR or Enter MR. Android WebXR AR uses floor hit testing and device tracking. On iPhone, press Enter iPhone AR: Safari opens the system AR Quick Look viewer, ARKit detects a horizontal floor plane, and the complete scene is attached to a real AR anchor. You can then walk physically forward, backward, left, right, and all the way around it with true 6DoF tracking. The iPhone scene includes the same rotating mirror ball, colored lights, front speaker, and spatial music.
Music: Dark Tranquillity by Anno Domini Beats.
WebXR compatibility
These popular headset, Android, and iPhone targets are good places to try Disco Lights VR. Headsets and Android use WebXR where available; iPhone uses the system ARKit Quick Look experience for real floor detection and world tracking.

Apple Vision Pro can run WebXR experiences in Safari for visionOS. Interaction and passthrough behavior may differ from controller-based VR headsets.
PICO 4, PICO 4 Ultra, VIVE XR Elite, VIVE Focus 3, and VIVE Focus Vision may work where their browser supports WebXR immersive sessions.
Valve Index, HTC VIVE Pro 2, VIVE Cosmos, Oculus Rift S, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets can work through desktop Chrome or Microsoft Edge when WebXR is exposed by OpenXR or SteamVR.
Modern ARCore-compatible Android phones in Chrome can use WebXR immersive AR with hit testing for true 6DoF movement and floor-locked scene placement.
Safari on ARKit-compatible iPhones opens a dedicated USDZ scene in AR Quick Look. ARKit finds a horizontal plane, anchors the scene to the floor, and tracks the iPhone in true 6DoF while you walk around it. The earlier visual-inertial web tracker remains only as a fallback where Quick Look is unavailable.
